What is this app?
It runs on your connected Android phone and does the actual sending. It receives messages you send from the web and sends them via the phone's own carrier line — not a server on your behalf. That's why there's no per-message SMS/MMS fee.

Allow installing from “unknown sources,” then open the APK.
Android 15+ restricts SMS permission for sideloaded apps. Settings › Apps › MessageFlow › top-right › Allow restricted settings.
Scan the QR on your workspace “Devices” screen to connect instantly.
Distributed directly from messageflow.io; verify integrity with the signing fingerprint.
